Making Your Vision Reality

I came into work today fired up and ready to get after it. When I got into doing the work, it seemed like I wasn’t making any headway. Thinking about all that I needed to get done overwhelmed me. I wondered if any of it would truly make a difference.

Before long, I didn’t feel like talking to anyone…and that’s my job!

If you came into work today feeling this way too, there’s good news. All it took was reminding myself why I do what I do and remembering the impact I have made in the past.

When you get bogged down in the details, it is easy to lose sight of the big picture. But when you have clarity of purpose, it drives you through the smaller discomforts so that you can achieve something bigger.

Deriving meaning from our work is a means of driving high performance.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been talking about the necessary components to find more meaning in your work and your sales career.

Clarity of purpose is important, but other factors drive high performance. These area’s include:

  • Building a personal development network
  • Facing challenges and hardships directly
  • Developing a process to make change happen

The problem with isolating certain things is that we lose sight of the big picture.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
John Muir

How do we bring it all together?

We all intend to do better and improve or develop in what we do. But then real life gets in the way, and it will throw you all over the place.

Don’t do it alone. An outside perspective, from an objective resource, like a coach, can make all the difference.

The coaching process is specifically designed to support you and your objectives. It is someone who is in the race with you, but not in the car. A coach can get you firing on all cylinders, like a finely tuned engine.

I want to extend to you an offer of a coaching session. If you would like to talk about whether you and I would be a fit in a coaching relationship, lets set something up.

Schedule a Conversation

I have openings to take on new clients, and I would love to see if we can work together. Maybe your feeling unclear on your purpose. Maybe you have a big vision, and you want to develop a plan to make it happen. Maybe you need to vent and let out some frustrations on the phone.

But it starts with you. If you would like to take the step in getting what you want, it is going to mean taking a step of vulnerability. It will require admitting you haven’t got it all figured out. I will require the willingness to try something new.

I hope you take this step for yourself. I know you won’t regret it.

The world needs you doing your best work. When you are making things better, by making better things, it not just your own life that will change. You will be making an impact on all those that you come into contact with. The ripples of impact are what make it all worth it.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power, love and sound mind.
I Timothy 1:7
